Hand-written HTML where a shop isn't needed, Shopify where one is. No page builders, no template sprawl, no monthly fee for things you'll never use.
Hand-harvested sea salt from the Menai Strait, sold to kitchens and shops around the world. The shop has to carry pure and flavoured salts, subscriptions, pantry goods, gift sets, ceramics and on-site experiences without ever becoming a maze — so the range is organised the way people actually buy it.
The skincare sister to Halen Môn: bath and body made by hand in Wales from Menai Strait sea salt, bladderwrack and sea buckthorn. Shopping is arranged by how you feel rather than by product type — sleep and rest, dry and dehydrated, changing skin — with the seaweed and salt stories doing the selling.
A nursery and preschool running since 2003, for children from three months to five years. Parents arrive wanting three answers quickly — is it safe, is it warm, can I come and look — so the site leads with the ethos, the accreditations and a visit booking, and keeps everything else one click behind.

The site's job is to make that process legible before anyone picks up the phone.
Our own project: the fourteen claims that power the "London has collapsed" narrative, each set against the official data — including a homicide rate at its lowest since records began. A journalism problem solved as a web problem, built to be read on a phone and checked against its sources.

Every site is really trying to do one thing — book a visit, sell the salt, get the call. We work that out first, then everything on the page either serves it or comes off.
Type, colour and layout chosen for your business rather than dragged out of a theme. It should look like you on a phone at the bus stop, which is where most people will see it.
Hand-written HTML and CSS, images sized properly, almost nothing loaded from anywhere else. Pages arrive in a quarter of a second, and Google notices as much as your customers do.
